As most of y'all know, I've made the dramatic switch from full time brunette to fabulous blonde!!
It has been wonderful... minus the upkeep.
That's where they get ya.
I'm a DIYer and hate going to pay. I should really know better with being a blonde... but I do my own roots every so often.
And you can imagine how my roots turn out every so often... with a yellowish tint to them. Which every blonde loves.
When this happens there are a few options to fix this problem.
1) forking out god-knows-how-much for a professional to fix it.
2) buy a new color (I NEVER use box colors EVER).
3) suck it up
4) toner/toning shampoo
I went into Sally's (my home away from home) and asked what they thought. We both agreed that coloring is a dramatic fix. She then suggested toning shampoo. After some quick research done in store and lots of questions. I got the toning shampoo.
I got the Blond Brilliance for cool blondes. Checking out the reviews pnline and it seemed not a lot of gals knew how to use toning shampoo. Yes, it does dry your hair out. The best solution is to throughly saturate your hair with deep conditioners and let it set for five minutes.
Followed by using my argon oil and lessening heat tools.
I've noticed a wonderful change in my hair color... even with one shampoo. I use it daily, but if you have less color fix use it once a week.
My hair has a beautiful gold tone to it and it has been super soft due to the saturation of conditioner and less use of heating tools.
I fully recommend trying this shampoo out if you have toning corrections.
Don't forget to take care of your hair, ladies!!
